Stain Removal: Vomit
Sponge vomit with a clean cloth dipped in cold water. Wash lightly with lukewarm water and
mild soap. If odour persists, treat with a solution of 1 teaspoon baking soda in 1 cup of warm water.
On washable material, scrape off as much as possible, then rinse under tap; soak overnight in biological washing powder, and wash. On
non-washable material, scrape off as much as possible, then sponge with water containing a few drops of ammonia, and sponge with clean water; dab
dry with kitchen paper towel.
On carpet: Scrape up deposits and blot with kitchen paper towel, and treat with carpet shampoo and a little disinfectant. You may well have to
use a proprietary cleaner to remove the stain.
