Stain Removal Lipstick

On washable material, scrape off as much as possible, then sponge with methylated spirits (not suitable for acetates); dab dry with kitchen paper towel and then wash. On non-washable materials scrape of as much as possible, then I'm afraid you'll have to take it to the cleaners.

Remove lipstick stains from linen napkins by applying petroleum jelly (such as Vaseline) before washing.
