Stain Removal: Lime Scale

To shift lime scale from a steam iron, simply fill the water tank with cider vinegar, turn the iron to 'steam' and run it over a soft cloth for several minutes. You'll need to rinse out the inside of your iron thoroughly afterwards.

Baking soda is excellent for cleaning stainless steel sinks. To give a stainless steel sink a superb finish rub it down with a scrunched up ball of newspaper after cleaning.
