To remove grass stains place a clean cloth under the fabric and dab another cloth in
methylated spirits. Clean the stain with a small circular movement, working from the centre outwards. Alternatively, cold rinse, then soak
overnight in biological washing powder, then wash. If not removed, sponge with methylated spirits
Remove grass stains on a nylon garment by rubbing with glycerine. Leave for one hour and wash out. On other clothing, grass stains can be
treated with methylated spirits. Rinse well with warm water.
If with mud: Dab the stain with methylated spirit, then rinse in warm water and detergent, then treat with glycerine. Wash in a heavy-duty
detergent containing oxygen bleach.
