Stain Removal: Adhesives

Contact or clear adhesives on washable and non washable material: dab with nail polish remover or methylated spirits (not suitable on acetates; use lighter fuel instead). Note that removal can be extremely difficult, if not impossible, when dry.

PVA glue on washable and non washable material: rinse immediately in cold water if possible. Dab with methylated spirits; not suitable for acetates.

For other glue stains try saturating the spot with a vinegar-soaked cloth.
