Q: Do you have a Returns Policy or any sort of guarantee?

A: Yes, we do. We are keen that our customers are completely satisfied with every purchase from us. If you are not happy with what you have bought, please contact us and we will do our best to make you happy, even if that means a complete refund of your payment.

Q: Do you combine postage/shipping?

A: Yes, we do — in fact postage/shipping is FREE for all items at WhizzDome!

Q: But I notice you are based in the UK; how much do you charge for shipping to places outside the UK?

A: It doesn't matter where you live — postage/shipping is free anywhere in the World!

Q: But that doesn't make sense! How can you afford to do that?

A: Firstly, it simplifies things for us enormously if we charge the same postage for all items and for all customers; and secondly if we sold the items on eBay then we would have to pay eBay listing fees, eBay final value fees, PayPal fees -- it all adds up and turns out to cost about the same as if we had sold them via WhizzDome.com and charged nothing for postage.  But note that we reserve the right to begin charging for postage if this policy really does end up being stupid!

Q: I don't have a PayPal account! Can I still buy from you?

A: Yes, of course. If you want to pay by credit card you can still pay via PayPal, and you don't need a PayPal account. Just follow the instructions as you go through checkout to pay by credit card; at the end you will be invited to register with PayPal, but you just say No.

Q: But I am wary of using my credit card over the internet, especially with a site like yours that I have not used before; what guarantees are there?

A: We at WhizzDome.com will not have any sight of your personal information, including credit card details. You pay with credit card using PayPal, and PayPal is a reputable company with many years of experience of commerce on the internet and a very high level of security. Check out PayPal's own site for more information. And we here at WhizzDome also have a Privacy Policy to set your minds at rest.

Q: But I don't have a credit card either! Can I still buy from you?

A: Yes, you can. Simply send us an e-mail and let us know precisely what you want. We will send you an invoice by return e-mail and you can send us a cheque, money order, or postal order through the post. When we receive your payment we will let you know and we will dispatch your items the next working day. Please remember that if you pay this way the only currency we can accept is Pounds Sterling (GBP).

Q: Do you accept any other forms of payment?

A: Not at the moment, I'm afraid; the only forms of payment we accept currently are PayPal (free for buyers!), Credit Card (through PayPal (free for buyers!)), Personal Cheque, Postal Order, and Money Order (the last three only in Pounds Sterling (GBP)).

Q: I notice you are based in the UK; can I pay in Dollars or some other form of currency other than Pounds Sterling (GBP)?

A: Yes, provided you pay via PayPal, as PayPal will do the currency conversion for you and make it all very seamless and easy. If you want to pay by Personal Cheque or Postal Order (or Money Order, or whatever) then your payment must be in Pounds Sterling (GBP) —I'm afraid it usually costs me more than the cheque/postal order is worth to convert it to GBP here in the UK, and so I cannot accept payment in any other currency.

Q: So you can accept payment from outside the UK, but do you ship outside the UK?

A: Yes, we do. Remember that shipping to anywhere in the world is free!  And e-Book downloads are free and quick.

Q: Do you offer an express service?

A: Well, I usually post your items on the next working day after I receive your payment and it has cleared. So for example if your payment clears on a Thursday your parcel will be in the post on Friday; if your payment clears on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday then it will be in the post on Monday. If your item is likely to be delayed (for example because I am away on holiday) then this will be made clear to you either on the web pages where the "Add to Basket" buttons are, or during checkout, so that you can change your mind if you want. If your item is downloadable then the download instructions should be automatically displayed, so watch out for them.

Q: But wait -- what's an e-Book? And do I need special software to read it?

A: An e-Book is simply a document in electronic format; if you have used OpenOffice.org or Microsoft Word then you have already worked on an e-Book. They are convenient for everyone since they can be made available as an internet download so they are quick and free to obtain. What's more, you can save paper if you only view them on your computer and don't print them out.  Most of our e-Books are in "PDF" format, and can easily be read on any computer with software such as Foxit or Adobe Reader; full instructions on how to obtain the appropriate software will be provided when you buy the item.

Q: Are you the same WhizzDome I have seen on eBay?

A: Yes; our items for sale on eBay are pretty much the same as what is on sale here; the main difference is that if you buy the items from the WhizzDome web site then postage/shipping is FREE!

Q: But I thought Whizzdome was something to do with learning languages?

A: Well, there is a German website with the same name that promotes language learning, but it isn't us!
