Other Types of Diabetes
There is a lot of argument and discussion in
the scientific and medical world about classifications of types
of diabetes outside Types 1 and 2 and Gestational Diabetes.
Such other types include problems with your body's tissue
receptors, genetic mutations, effects of drug misuse, and other
conditions that may have been caused by illness or trauma;
these can all cause your body to show symptoms of Diabetes
Mellitus, but the precise classifications have not yet been
agreed. You may read about "Type 3 Diabetes", for example, but
it will always be qualified by phrases such as "some people
call it..." or "also sometimes known as...".
