Pre-Diabetes
Pre-Diabetes was previously known as
Impaired Glucose Tolerance or Impaired
Fasting Glucose. You have blood sugar levels that are
higher than normal, but not high enough to count as full
diabetes. The bad news is that Pre-Diabetes very often
leads to full Type 2 diabetes if left untreated. The good
news is that if it is treated the development of Type 2 from
Pre-Diabetes can be slowed or even prevented altogether.
The other bad news is that the sufferer does
not always realise they have the condition until too late, and
they have already developed Type 2.
In fact, some sufferers experience no
symptoms at all, and
Type 2 can creep up on you.
