About This Site
I am not a doctor. I am
no sort of healthcare professional at all. I am just an
ordinary bloke who has a very good friend and one relative who
suffer from Diabetes, and I wanted to know more about the
condition and to help them through the problems. I learned a
lot during all my investigations, and I thought it just might
help someone else out there on the Interweb. The information on
this website is for educational purposes only and should not be
considered medical advice. Only a qualified healthcare
professional can offer medical advice. If you suspect you have
diabetes or indeed any illness, contact your healthcare
provider immediately for an accurate diagnosis. The
information provided is offered on an “as is” basis with no
warranties.
My intention is not to provide medical
advice, nor in any way to be a substitute for
your professional healthcare team. What I want to do is to help
you decide whether you need to get yourself checked if you
think you might have diabetes (and the answer is nearly always
that Yes, you should get it checked), and to help and support
you through the early days after your diagnosis. Only a
qualified healthcare professional can offer medical advice.
